SVETLAKOV, SERGEI NIKOLAEVICH (b.1961) 

Sergei graduated from Theatre Academy in Leningrad (at present Saint-Petersburg), where he studied scenography. 
Afterwards for the few years he collaborated with several Theatres in Russia as a production designer of Drama and Opera performances. The most significant work for the Theatre was Costume design for Adisson Denisov's Opera «L'Ecume des Jours» after Boris Vian's cult novel - the first staging in Russia. 
In 1991 Russian National Television shot the half-hour TV film dedicated to Sergei Svetlakov's creative work for the Theatre mainly. At present the artist devotes himself to Painting (Still-life and Portraiture) and Drawing (Portraiture and male Form).
